Right Here Waiting
Oceans apart day after day
And I slowly go insane
I hear your voice on the line
But it doesn’t stop the pain
If I see you next to never
How can we say forever…
I was frying fish for lunch when I thought of this song, and from then on, I’ve been singing it until I started this post. Perfect song for me and my fiance’, huh?
Love and Live to Learn
As the famous cliché goes, the only thing that can’t be stolen is education. That is why it is considered the best gift any parent can give to their children. And being a parent myself, I’ve made sure that my son is getting the best education possible – an education that I know he will be proud of. But that’s not all I’m going to do. I am also planning to enroll him in sat prep courses. I know it is early to think of such since he is only 7-years-old but it is something that I want to do.
He is a pretty smart kid and starting him as early as possible would hone his thinking skills the more, not to mention would give him a heads up and prepare him for the competitive world that awaits his young adulthood, and I can’t wait to see him gearing up and reaching high.
Building a Future of Secure Employment
We’ve ran a construction business for 15 years and though it has had its ups and downs like all businesses, the good thing is that we’ve helped a lot of people by giving them quality construction jobs. Some of our workers have been with us all these years and though some of them are still quite new, they are all treated fairly and paid a good wage that each of them deserve.
I don’t know how long this family business will exist since dad’s almost ready to retire. And once he retires, I think the business will cease operating since he’s the only one who knows the ins and out of it, not to mention he’s the only one who can create the estimates and plans needed for those mechanical and civil works. I think it would be different if either of his sons had shown an interest in the business but they chose other careers. But then, he could possibly sell the business which would give someone else an opportunity at success as well as employment to our skilled workers. Come what may, dad has earned the right to retire and relax.
What A Sharp Memory!
I am referring to my fiance’ who’s been recapping what transpired a year ago today since August 23rd when he was here for a 16 day vacation to visit and see me. From today, there are still five days left since we parted from that vacation – when he left to go back to his country. So, I am still expecting five days of reminiscing which I really love doing. He’s the type who goes into details too so his email is such a feel-good to read because of that.
I must admit, his memory is very much sharper than mine when in fact I am much younger than his. Shame on me! LOL. Well, at least I have him to remind me all the time, right which makes us a perfect match. (“,)
Way to go, Honey!
So Much to Learn
One of the many things that my fiancé will do as soon as we’re together is to add me and my son Yogi to his insurance. That will be after the wedding and is the first thing that he’ll make sure to accomplish before anything else. We all know how important insurance is. We don’t know what the future holds so we must be covered and be ready for what may come.
We’ve talked a lot about it lately since I still don’t know exactly how their insurance works. There is a little difference when it comes to their policies as compared to those here in our country. So for me to understand everything fully, I’ve been reading about insurance and www.wholesaleinsurance.net is one of the many sites that I’ve visited. I have learned a lot but there is still much yet for me to learn. I will continue studying that, as well as many other things I need to know so I can begin my new life in a new world and culture.
Diamonds Are Cool, But He’s My Very Best Friend
I so love jewelry like as women do. My fiancé is aware of that and I made certain he knew so that he would not yak at me just in case I’ll buy more aside from the few sets I’ve got. Hehe. Diamonds are a woman’s best friend, are they not? I don’t have a diamond jewelry yet, but maybe soon. Paging my fiancé! LOL.
Nah, I am just teasing him but, really, I would love to acquire more jewelry in the future. It can be a good investment too since I can pawn it or sell it just in case I need emergency money. Maybe I will just try wholesale jewelry shopping so it won’t be a real pain in the pocket. That’s a nice idea and I know for certain, my fiancé will agree with me. Right, Honey?
