I’ll Try to Grow Old Gracefully; Maybe

I was washing my face last night when I noticed the additional fine lines beside my eyes. Oh boy! I think I will be needing an anti-wrinkle cream pretty soon. Yikes! That kind of sucks. I know it’s inevitable but I think I am still in the denial stage and I think I am not the only vain one that feels that way. Am I not right? Hee hee.

Whatever! I know I will get there soon and I know I need to deal with it or as what my fiance’ always say, suck it up! LOL.

He’s Always Ready to Rock & Roll and Get ‘Er Done

My fiancé has been busy putting up Christmas decors since yesterday and he doesn’t seem to get tired at all. Well, he’s always been like that and I know his vitamins has helped a lot. He never fails to take his vitamins which we bought just recently at the mens vitamins section at the supermarket.

He is always good to go, just one of the many things that I love about him. And that goes for the whole day and the whole night. Hee hee. Way to go, Honey!

The Water Here is Delicious; Pure Mountain Water

When we got here on Tuesday, the first thing that my fiancé checked was his water line. He’d been gone for ten days to fetch me and my son and he thought there was a leak in one of the sinks in the bathroom. Gladly, his stepson fixed it without him knowing and that made him happy.

Then he checked on the distributor water filter to make sure it was clean because he wasn’t sure if he’d changed it because of his busy schedule which included preparing for his trip to come get us.

Everything is now done and good to go and we couldn’t be happier.

Maybe I’ll Freeze Them Away

I may not be having problems with acne compared to my niece but I’ve got my own problems with my face: Blackheads! Darn! They don’t seem to stop coming. I’ve got rid of them a lot of times through either a blackhead removal or through a painful facial but unfortunately, they just keep on coming back. That’s how they love me. Hehe.

I do know the weather we have in my home country which is so hot has something to do with it too because it opens up the pores thus, letting in the dirt. But now that I am halfway across the world from my home country and the weather being so cold, I do wonder if blackheads will still be a problem. Here’s hoping not!

Very Organized

Guess who I am talking about? My BA no less. And I was really surprised to have discovered it. I’ve been surrounded with men since I have two brothers and to tell you, they are not at all organized. Because of that, I had always thought men can be like that since they always expect us women to follow them around and clean up their mess.

I never thought BA was such an organized man. After three days of being together in his simple abode, I found it out and I am just so delighted. That only mean one thing, that I will not be babysitting a man here like what I did back at home. Perhaps he will be the one to babysit me. Good idea eh? LOL.

Special Pictures Tell a Special Story

The people who graced my brother’s wedding were all happy to be there. I can tell not just because of their happy faces but also because of their eagerness in capturing photos every moment they could get.

What’s special about it is some of them had to use their cellphones just to capture those special moments. Maybe they have ipods to store the pictures afterwards since I know they’ve taken hundreds of photos. Cellphones can sometimes freeze up due to photo or video overload. But I know for certain that they will do everything to have those photos stored because that wedding only happened once and, yes, the photos last a lifetime.

Maybe I Can Start a New Career

My brother’s wedding was a blast! I’ve just seen the photos taken by the official photographer and they are all awesome. He really did a great job – not just in the photos but with the video that he done as well which was shown at the wedding’s reception.

He made a slide show of the couple’s pre-nuptial photos and showed it using two epson lcd projectors which were placed at the two ends of the reception area. He is such a talented photographer; I wish I was as talented with a camera as him. I so love taking pictures of just about anything but I know I need to learn more about the art of capturing pictures. Maybe I will just ask him to teach me.

“Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree…”

“Are we going to have an artificial christmas tree or a live Christmas tree?” This is what I asked my fiancé a few days ago. We will be celebrating our first Christmas together in his home this year and knowing that they usually use a live tree as a Christmas tree there prompted me to ask that question. In our country, we often use an artificial Christmas tree but I think a live Christmas tree is something really interesting. I just don’t have an idea which one is easier to put up or has advantages over the other. That, I need to find out.

Watch Out Tummy: The Fun is About to Begin!

Two big events await me this week. And since they are big events, there will be an abundance of food too. Uh-oh! I just might be in need of phentermine by week’s end. With my healthy appetite, I have this feeling that I will definitely be needing some. No big deal, though. I only indulge in food once in a while so I don’t think it will hurt and I won’t feel guilty about it. Besides, life is short and as they say, enjoy life to the fullest. So I am going to enjoy every food that comes my way, big or small. Hehe.

Hey Girls, Throw Some of That Moolah My Way!

Many of my friends are always on the lookout for the best diet pills they can find. But what surprises me is that they never consider the cost of what they’re purchasing. Me being of a frugal nature, I can’t understand why they look for the best, but don’t also think about finding the best for less. It almost sounds as if their pocketbooks are overweight too and they’re trying to help them lose weight. LOL.
