Rain May Fall on My Head, But Not My Toes
Spring is just around the corner and I really can’t wait. This will be my first spring and though I don’t know what to expect, still, I am so excited. The weather yesterday was actually spring-like though it rained around mid-afternoon. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the day by accomplishing little missions and going around the city.
My hubby said there will be more rain in the coming days. No worries, my rain boots are ready for those rain drops. So, see you soon, Mr. Rain.
A Very Sweet Post
My hubby and I celebrated our 2nd year anniversary yesterday of meeting online. We couldn’t believe we have reached two years already because we felt like it was only yesterday when we sent each other that very first e-mail.
And here’s what he wrote on his Facebook wall which really melted my heart. He’s always been sweet, but still, he never fails to put a smile on my face whenever he does sweet and loving things.
“Twas exactly 2 years ago at this vey moment, 4:49 PM on the 24th of February, 2009, that I first came in contact with Lynndee, little knowing that in exactly 1-year, 11-months, 2-weeks and 5-days from that moment, she would become my wife. Isn’t life an adventure? So Happy Anniversary, Anghel, with many more special moments yet to share as our journey, and adventure, continues. I LOVE YOU!!!!
He’s My Angel Too
I am currently listening to the song “Angels Brought Me Here” by American Idol, Guy Sebastian. It is the song me and my husband love so much.
Today is our second anniversary of meeting online and just a few days after the meeting, he started calling me angel. I already loved this song even before I met him but I love it the more when I shared it with him because it is simply perfect for us.
Am I beginning to get cheesy now? Okay then, let me continue my search for diet pill reviews for my mom in the meantime. I will continue with my cheesiness after I am done. LOL.
‘Tis Almost Time to Smile
A few more minutes to go and my husband will be home from work. He’s only gone for eight hours everyday, but I do miss him. And today was no different, and I am excited to see him again. Well, we are newlyweds so what do you expect? Hee hee.
Waiting for the clock to strike 3 o’clock seems to take forever for me. So more often than not, I keep myself busy to fill my time. It’s either I am reading or browsing online or playing my favorite apps. I was in the middle of reading diet pills that work when I thought of the time. He will be here soon and I can’t wait to see the smile on his face as well as the smile that he puts on my face. (“,)
Get Brown Without a Frown
Growing up in a tropical country where it is like summer all throughout the year, we don’t need any tanning lotion at all. You just have to stay outside for a few minutes and before you know it, your color is already bronze.
But the sun’s rays can be damaging, thus, some people use the indoor tanning lotion instead to avoid the damage the sun brings. I think I might try that sometime too. I wonder if I will look pretty when my skin is tan.
You Earned Those Wrinkles, Honey; Wear Them With Pride
My hubby was looking in the mirror last night while brushing his teeth when he commented on his wrinkles. He felt like there were some new additions to the ones that he already has. I told him that there’s no change at all. It’s still the same handsome him. Yes, he does have wrinkles and that’s because he’s not in his younger years anymore but I didn’t see any change at all. I think he was just being conscious and all because today is his birthday and he probably thought that an additional year would mean additional wrinkles too.
Not exactly, Honey, and even if you had more, which you eventually will, don’t worry; you can always use wrinkle creams to get rid of them. I will actually read wrinkle cream reviews for you if you want me to. But you know what, even if you will have more wrinkles, you will still be my man. And that will be ‘til forever.
McDonald’s for Din-Din
I am not feeling at my best today so hubby said that he will just buy us food at McDonald’s. The little one was so delighted because he will have a happy meal again, his only choice whenever we go there because of the toy. I will have me chicken nuggets, my choice most of the time too because I am not really into hamburgers like my son and my hubby.
Hubby left about five minutes ago and if there will be no traffic, he will be back in a few minutes. McDonald’s is only about a mile from where we live so he will be home soon. I can’t wait because the pets inside my tummy are now starting to rumble. They are already hungry like their queen. LOL.
I Simply Can’t Stop them From Coming
I saw this pile of white envelopes on our computer table yesterday. I opened them one by one and I guess you already have an idea what they were. Yup, bills! Time flies really fast, huh? I felt like it was just the other day when we paid the bills for last month. LOL.
It’s simply never-ending, eh? And the fun part is, they are all almost due at the same time. There’s utility bills, insurance bills, not to mention, the taxes like property and so on. Glad we don’t have a motorhome so we don’t need to think of a motorhome insurance that needs payment too. Whew! Life!
Getting Giddy Over It
A few more months to go and I will have my new cellphone. I really can’t wait. I was used to having a cellphone every single day of the year back home, but when we left for Uncle Sam’s, I left my cellphone with my mom because my hubby said I couldn’t use it here.
I’ve been here for almost three months now and though I am already used to not having a cellphone with me, still, my desire to have one is still there. Not only that though, we do know how important having a cellphone is.
But I am still undecided what cellphone to get. It can be a Motorola Xoom or just whatever that will tickle my fancy. That still remains to be seen but I am definitely looking forward to it.
Keep on Truckin’, Even After an Accident
Accidents can happen anywhere and at times when we least expect them. And unfortunately, there are some people who are not aware of their rights when it comes to accidents. Good thing there are lawyers to explain the laws to them and that includes every state in the country like the Texas truck accident lawyer.
An accident can be an individual’s nightmare and even though we are careful on the road, still, we can be victims especially since reckless drivers are everywhere. Let us just continue hoping and praying that we will not be among those unfortunate individuals.
