Better Late Than Never

More often than not, my fiancé and I normally talk between seven to eight my morning and evening, which is exactly vice versa to him since he’s half-a-world away from me. We have a twelve hour time difference and though we only have an hour to talk, we make the best of our time together and our conversations cover everything from A-to-Z. But today was different: he didn’t get home until his 7:30 in the evening because he worked overtime until 6:00 o’clock and was caught in traffic on his way home. He kept me well informed, though, as he always does; thank goodness for cell phones.

So while waiting for his arrival, I just keep on browsing the net like I usually do, and more often than not, I stumble upon new things. This time around, I was browsing for wedding giveaways but some custom point of purchase displays were among the many items my searches displayed. The concept itself was interesting for it is something I’d never thought of, yet it’s one of those common things that we see everyday. So I now have an additional word in my vocabulary and a new way of looking at things when I’m out shopping. That’s why I never get tired of browsing for I learn new things every day.

It Takes A Licking…

…and it keeps on ticking – the slogan that Timex watch is known for.

Timex has been in the industry for centuries, thus, making it one of the best provider of watches worldwide. And so when I thought of giving my fiance a watch for his birthday, it was Timex that I thought of instantly. And here’s what I got him. Little did I know that his watch was Timex too. The watch that he used but messed up when he visited me last year. One of the reasons too why I got him a watch for his birthday so he’ll have a new watch that he can wear and won’t mess up the next time he visits me. Hehe.

That’s the watch. Very nice, isn’t it?

Traffic Inside the Mall

Perhaps a lot of you have already been starting to do some Christmas shopping since Christmas is just around the corner. I myself started yesterday. Bought my son some things he needs for their Christmas Party next week. It’s still two weeks before Christmas but the mall is already jam-packed with people. Everywhere is crowded even the food courts. Traffic in the hallways. Long queues in the cashier. Gosh! I was supposed to buy some things for myself too but the line in every counter is just so frustrating to look at. Well, what can i do? It’s already given. It’s maybe tiring to look at but that won’t stop me from going shopping still. Will be there tomorrow again. Lol.
