My husband had a hard fall on Saturday – falling about five feet to the ground from where he was standing at the edge of a building at work. He worked overtime as requested because of a must-finished job. Good thing, he didn’t break anything, but he did hurt his right leg – the part that landed first when he hit the ground. We were actually waiting for signs of bruises, but fortunately, there was none. My husband is real tough!

He was limping though since then, but he is getting a lot better today. Get well soon, Honey!

The hubby told me yesterday that they are probably going to have a break this Sunday after working straight for almost four weeks now. Finally! It really made me delighted. He definitely needed a break.

Our weekends were not the same after they started on their huge project at work. And they are actually not done yet. Their bossman just decided to give them a break this Sunday because he’s aware that they’re already exhausted. And yes, they will still be working Saturday, but at least, not on Sunday which means, we will have our normal family time once again. It was different and I didn’t like the feeling, but we are absolutely thankful for this blessing.

I can’t wait for this Sunday. I am hoping there will be no abrupt changes on their plans because I do have plans myself. My son’s birthday is just around the corner and I know it’s time for us to go shopping for his things. I am keeping my fingers crossed!

For my very hard-working husband, yes and it started last weekend. And they don’t know yet until when will it be like this. The equipment that their company ordered from Germany already arrived thus, the big work. He always works overtime everyday and has been working for 19 days straight now without any day-off.

I feel sorry for him because he is always tired when he arrives home, but though he is tired, he’s still ready to rumble, as always. You would think he would go to bed early because he was tired but nah. He would still play with my son or watch TV or mess up with the PC. He’s more energized than me, you know.

And this is something that we both consider a blessing because some people don’t have jobs to get busy with. That’s why he is motivated all the time. He feels blessed and he is very thankful that he still has job. (“,)

Seriously, he is the boss at work now because his boss is on a business trip to Germany. He left Saturday last week and will be back on Wednesday yet. So, my husband has always been coming home late this week. It had been kind of an exhausting week for him. But he’s always ready to rumble and always good to go whatever work has in for him. That’s how tough my man is. Need I say more?

A week day is not a day without a phone call from my hubby. He always make it sure that he calls me between 9:00 to 10:00 o’clock in the morning when he is at work . It has never gone beyond that or earlier than that except today. He called me at two minutes past 10 and that is because he had a meeting with his boss.

They were actually just having a break when he called me and he was still holding the receipt printer that his boss handed to him for him to check out. He didn’t explain everything to me about it since his break was almost over in and his boss wanted him to get right on with his work. Maybe later when he gets home.

Isn’t he super sweet? He is and I know he will always be.

My fiance’ touched base with me a few minutes ago informing me that he’s going to have an overtime again. That is not something new to me because they’ve been having an overtime since the start of the week and will actually work until tomorrow, Saturday which is supposed to be their day-off. They are into a lot of pressure as of late because their bossman from Ireland is coming to visit the workplace soon. So they need to get things done.

I’ve been looking forward to this weekend because I thought we could go out again. I haven’t been out since last weekend and I am kind of bored here at home but I can’t do anything about it. We still have Sunday though and maybe we will spend the whole day outside. I am just hoping that the weather will cooperate.

My fiancé sounded so tired when he called me last night even though his day had just got started. He had been at work for only two hours yet he had already worked hard from the moment he arrived and was already exhausted with two-thirds of the day yet in front of him. And whenever he’s like that, it always prompts me to ask where his colleagues are, and I nailed it on the head: his boss wasn’t there.

His boss wasn’t there because he went out to look for lead test kits to be used at the workplace. There are only three of them in his maintenance department and when the bossman is out, only two of them are left and they usually have to work their butts off to keep the factory running. And when the boss isn’t there, my fiancé is in charge, the go-to guy, creating even more pressure for him. Had it been that his other co-worker was also absent, my fiancé would have been the only guy and might have passed out from exhaustion! LOL. Nah, he’s a tough guy and rain or shine, he’s always on top of things and in complete control of the situation. You go, boy! (“,)

Those are the two words that I heard from my fiance’ as soon as I picked up my cellphone and said “hello”. LOL. What he meant was “work galore”. He refers to those jobs that he needs to do at work as tigers and when there are a lot of things to accomplish and needs to be done, then it’s tigers galore. I really find that funny and we often kid about that actually.

His day is just starting in his part of the world now, his Thursday to be exact while mine is about to end. He only called to inform me how his day is starting and of course, to say good night. His day isn’t complete without saying good night to me so just imagine the phone calls he’s done from day 1 up to now. He never missed a day! Phone calls galore! Hehe.

I was in the middle of reading alli reviews yesterday morning for my mom who has gained weight recently. Around 11 o’clock my phone rang. I was surprised to see that it was my fiancé calling. He should have already been in bed on his side of the world. We had stopped chatting at around 8 o’clock because he was tired from his day’s work and needed to hit the sack.

An idea came to my mind instantly as soon as I saw it was him and answered: I figured he had got called in to work again and I wasn’t wrong. He was on his cell phone and on the road to work. He just called to inform me which he always does. He always lets me know his whereabouts because he doesn’t want me to worry. That’s how sweet he is! (“,)

Yes, my fiance’ was called in at work again while we were talking yesterday my morning which is around his 7:30 in the evening because there was a problem at work. He’s on call 24 hours every other week and after a while, that was his first call again.

Good thing it wasn’t in the middle of the night when he’s already enjoying la la land but well, he haven’t had his dinner yet because he was busy talking to me. And more often than not, he takes his dinner after we talked. But knowing my fiance’ to be tough and always on the go, those call ins are pieces of cake for him. Right, Honey? (“,)
