Being a stay at home wife and mom, I almost always do the same routine everyday when it comes to the chores. And a routine schedule can be boring, so to keep myself from getting bored, I stay busy tinkering on things that I love doing, the most favorite being playing with apps followed by talking to my family and friends back home. And I actually would like to add one more after my friend and I thought of an idea: that is getting into the accessories business – one thing that most women, including us can’t live without.

My friend would be the one to create the accessories like necklaces, earrings and bracelets, and she is now in the process of looking into the bestest deal on beads wholesale. The kind of accessories that we will have will be made of beads and crystals – something that is in the going trend. I will be the one to dispose of them – selling them online and to people we know.

We’re both getting giddy with excitement thinking about this small business of ours and we are both hoping and praying that it will be a success. Wish us luck!

Mow Time

As soon as the husband got home from work, he thought his day was over. But nah, because his work is still far from done. The yard was calling his name, waiting to be mowed. If only the push mower is a little small and light, I will help him. But unfortunately, it was way too big and heavy for me. Not to mention, our yard is hilly too so it is really difficult which is also difficult for me to ride the ride mower.

The husband is not urging me to do anything anyway. He had told me before that the yard is his and the inside of the house is mine. Hehe. Fair enough. But I really want to try riding the ride mower too. Hmmm, maybe one day. (“,)

Maybe He’ll Give Me a Sip

Mother’s day is just around the corner and I do wonder what the husband will give me. I know for certain he will get me something, but it will be a surprise, of course. But I love teasing him by asking him what he’ll get me even though I know I will not get any answer in return. He knows how to tease back pretty well.

I have no idea what he’s going to give me, but I already know what I am going to give him on Father’s Day. It’s still a month away, but I have decided that I am going to give him some beverage tub gifts. He loves wine so that will be perfect.

My Thumb’s Getting Greener

Whenever we go out, one thing that really catches my attention are the beautiful landscapes around houses, whether manufactured homes or not. They are so pretty and it is where I actually got the ideas of how I wanted our planter and flower beds to look like, and also, what kind of plants and flowers to use.

I am so happy with the outcome of my husband’s work on the garden. We’ve even had a lot of good comments from the neighbors on how good things look. What more if the plants will grow bigger and will give more flowers. It will truly be beautiful.

A Hard Fall

My husband had a hard fall on Saturday – falling about five feet to the ground from where he was standing at the edge of a building at work. He worked overtime as requested because of a must-finished job. Good thing, he didn’t break anything, but he did hurt his right leg – the part that landed first when he hit the ground. We were actually waiting for signs of bruises, but fortunately, there was none. My husband is real tough!

He was limping though since then, but he is getting a lot better today. Get well soon, Honey!

My Hubby is Part Old School

Music lovers. That is one among the many things that the husband and I have in common. The only difference is, I am kind of clueless when it comes to musical instruments and the like. I know some like those most common ones like guitar, drums, etc., but not all.

And with music comes all the fancy hardware need to listen to it. I asked my husband to explain to me the equipment that was sitting on top of his stereo component, and it is a stereo compressor. A chameleon labs brand to be precise. And I also asked him one time what was it near the window, and it was his old record player. Ha! I am certainly naïve, am I not? But I’ve grown up in the word of CDs so, records are antique to me. Teehee.

He Can Be So Picky; That’s Why He Chose Me

A new set of cufflinks – that is one of the few things that I want to get my husband before our trip to Maryland. We will be attending the christening of my friend’s son, and my hubby being so particular with his clothes when it comes to occasions, I know I need to get him some because his cufflinks are so outdated.

I am on the verge of searching because he can be picky when it comes to his accessories. I don’t really mind and I actually admire him for that because he always wants the best and doesn’t settle for anything less. I hope I will get the best and the right ones for him today.

A Manic Monday

Well, yes, kinda sorta…for the husband, that is. I am a stay at home wifey and mom so although I also struggle in the morning getting out of bed to prepare my son for school, that’s just it. The rest of my day is already free and I can do whatever I want and whenever I want. No pressure at all.

Not with the husband, of course. His job is giving him too much pressure lately and though he’s thankful that he got a job, still, there were times that he felt like he needed a break. He’s only human after all.

And today, just like last week is another manic Monday for him. Poor hubby. But he’s tough! I pretty well know that!

Spring Makes My Heart Bloom

Aside from the sunny weather, what I really love about spring is the different colors of flowers and plants that are blooming. From white to pink, to purple to orange plants to yellow, et cetera. They’re just everywhere we go and they’re simply beautiful.

My mother-in-law’s lilac bush in our back yard is starting to bloom too and it’s really pretty. The dogwood tree near her front door is in full bloom now. Soon the trees will be filled with leaves too. Ah, spring!

Isn’t the internet simply awesome?!

We don’t have to go anywhere to pay our bills because there are already what is called electronic payments like ach payment. We don’t need to go to the bank to check our balance. We don’t need to go to the mall to shop. Et cetera, et cetera. The list is endless. Everything can be done in the comfort of our own home and only with the use of our fingers.

The convenience that the internet brings is simply immeasurable. I am enjoying it immensely specially the online shopping part. LOL.
